Saxophone

Shane is a founding member of the Portland Saxophone Ensemble and the Portland-based Quartet 321 saxophone quartet. He regularly performs with the Portland Wind Symphony on soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones and has been featured as a soloist in Saxophone Quartet concertos by Maslanka, Colgrass, and Bolcom.

Quartet 321 performs a truncated version of David Maslanka’s Recitation Book - Movement 5 as an encore after performing his Concerto for Saxophone Quartet with the Portland State University Wind Symphony in June 2019.
